Isaac Joshua
Research Technician

Isaac holds a BS in Biological Sciences, with an emphasis in cellular and molecular biology. His aspirations to become involved in scientific research stem from his undergraduate studies in Hawaii, where he became inspired by his chemistry teacher, who was involved in the discovery of an anti-tumor molecule derived from a sea slug, found at his favorite beach.
His interests in medicine and physiology have led him to want to contribute to the development of therapeutics that extend life and prevent disease
For his undergraduate research project, Isaac tested the effectiveness of organic compounds in limiting toxicity from a chemotherapy drug in a cancer cell line
Isaac is a believer in regenerative medicine and has dreams of a future where any damaged or diseased organs can be medicated through engineering tissues from stem cells, and ultimately, replaced.
